Instant messaging problems

I have set up an MN500 wireless router in our small
office. Everything is working fine-email,internet,network
access etc. However the instant messaging isn't working
correctly. Those who are using wireless do appear on the
signed in list and are able to send IM to others. However
nobody can send an IM back to anyone connected by
wireless. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks,
Russ
