I tried to install Scientific Linux on my laptop. Disc 1 was read and
the system started loading.
I noticed that when it got to "Running /sbin/loader" it stopped. Waited
5 minutes...no response.
Tried again...same thing. Downloaded the iso again and re-burned it to
CD. Tried that disc...but
same result. FC6 loads up fine. Suse 10.1 loads up fine. Anyone got any
idea what might be
going wrong? Laptop is a Compaq 2105 with the Sempron processor.
