Installing Network Monitor 3.x on Server 2008 VM

I have a Server 2008 VM that I wanted to do some network traces.

I tried 3.1, it hangs at "Please wait while the installer finishes
determining your disk space requirements.".

I couldn't find anything that mentioned that 2008 wasn't supported.
Just for fun, I found out that 3.2 beta was recently released to decided
to give that a try.

Same result: hang at the same message as 3.1.

Any ideas? This normal?

This is a 10GB VM.

I called the .msi from PowerShell with the /quiet flag and it installed.

Just installed version 3.1 in less then one minute on a VM Server 2008. Just
as info.
