Installing IAS on Windows 2000 - The error was 0x80040154

Hi Folks;

I'm trying to install IAS on Windows 2000 AdvSrvr. It's an Exchange 2000
machine that also runs DNS and Certificate Services.

For some reason installation won't complete - I get this error message;

"An error occurred which prevented the Internet Authentication Service
component from being installed or removed. The error was 0x80040154."

Does anyone know what I have to do to get IAS installed on this machine?
It's in otherwise perfect shape.

This is what I get from Google:

If you don't have IIS installed, executing the SelfSSL command as shown
above will end with an error message "Error opening metabase: 0x80040154".
That just means the IIS site was not found but you can ignore that error
message since the Certificate you need for PEAP authentication will have
already been generated.
