Installing "File and Printer Sharing" remotely

Hi there!

I am wondering if it is possible to install File and Printer Sharing
remotely?

Scenario is the following: a huge network, on all workstations File and
Printer Sharing was uninstalled (not disabled), now they need it for a short
project (migration), but don't want to do it manually on each WS.

Any ideas how to achieve this?

I doubt if copying a registry key will work. Was browsing www but couldn't
find anything.

Appreciate any advise and any idea.

Yes, this might help:

Get a copy snetcfg.exe (I think you can find this in the SDK)

snetcfg.exe -v -l " %windir%\Inf\NETSERV.INF -c s -i

or

%SystemRoot%\system32\rundll32.exe setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection
Install.ndi 132 %SystemRoot%\Inf\netserv.inf

I haven't tried the second, but I'm told it works.
