I ran "rpm -q telnet" on this new box and it shows up. However, when I
went to /etc/xinetd.conf, it's not there, but krb5-telnet is. What do I
have to do to telnet to this box?
Not supposed to telnet to a WS?

Thanks to all.

You shouldn't telnet period. Use SSH instead.

That's the telnet _client_.

Install the telnet _server_.

You've got telnet-0.17-26 package (from CD2) installed. It's telnet client
only. For the server part you might install telnet-server-0.17-26 (from CD3).
And perhaps it would be even better to use SSH instead of telnet (the
openssh-server-3.6.1p2-33.30.1 package is on the CD2).
