Perhaps you've run across the XP verses 98 format problem related to the
pen drive.
The default format for most pen/flash drives is fat16.
XP likes to format them to fat32.
98 tries to access them as fat16 due to the drivers with inbuilt format
requirements/support.
Generally one can correct the problem by re-formatting the pen drive with
98 at fat16 [do not use XP as it puts extra information on the drive].
If this doesn't work, please post again after the attempted correction.
