Could anyone be of any help, had a supposedly wires only install last
June(ISDN to PSTN conversion), BT bloke had a spare v 1.0 faceplate
with him and i thought he was doing me a favour by fitting it, am i
right in saying that because he fitted that i cant get adsl on any of
the other sockets. If so what do i need to do to put this right, (ie.
get BT back out, or change wiring).

TIA

Jay

Hi Jason
Like you said if he was doing you a favour, you will only be able to get dsl
at that point, to remedy it you just need a normal bottom front plate and
reconnect your extension wiring to this plate...put a micro filter at each
extension that has equipment and also for your adsl modem(rj11)connection,
either call them back out or do it yourself, what evers easiest.

HTH )
