Hello,
I noticed that the line above appears when I boot my mdk 10 server. And,
the HD light stays on unless I run MCC and choose 'hardware", then it goes
off....what gives?

Thanks,

Robert

Hi,

well, there is propbly something wrong with your initisl ramdisk. Create a
new one and run lilo. Maybe, just updateing lilo will be enough.
Other possibility, compile all your modules in the kernel, then you won't
need a ramdisk.

Regards, Alex

Um, I'm pretty good with this stuff, but not that good. I may try grub?
Or, reinstall......

Thanks,

Robert

Well, the init problem must not have been related, and went away....

I did a simple test and unplugged the HD while booted (I Know...) but the
light stayed lit, and of course the HD was off, so it must be some stupid
thing...

Thanks,

Robert
