I purchase a new computer (XP) and add it to the
network (sys-A). My other system is an (Me) (sys-b) and I
moved it from one location to another. Also, I added a
PCI based fast Ethernet card instead of a usb based
ethernet to (sys-b). I have a laptop (Xp Pro) (sys-c)
I have a wireless router that connects these system
together along with a playstation 2.
I can network between all systems together and access
shared resourses (drives, printers).
However, sys-b (Me) can no longer access the internet
via Explorer or Netscape. I intended to have all systems
accessing the internet individually and the other two are
successful.
Sys-b can ping the gateway and at least one internet
site via the ip address. I can access the other drives
of the other systems; I just get the "The page can not
be displayed.." under Internet Explorer

Greg,

When you added the PCI Ethernet card to sys-b, did you remove
(uninstall drivers) for the USB Ethernet?

Please run "ipconfig /all >ipconfig.txt", and post the contents of
ipconfig.txt, for sys-a and sys-b here.

Do you intend to share files between sys-a, b, and c?

Cheers,

Chuck
