Increasing range to another building?

I have access to a wireless broadband network via a MN-
520 adapter in my notebook. I would like to expand the
range of the network so that I have reception in the
building across the street as well (currently reception
only extends to about the driveway of the second
building, but not really inside). Is there anything I
can do to make this happen without messing with the
network equipment in the original building? For example
if I were to get an MN-700 or 500 base station for the
second building could I possibly use that to pick up the
signal from my network in the first building and provide
reception throughout the second building? I'm new to this
whole networking thing, so I really appreciate the help,
thanks!

I would look for a wireless router that supports an
external antenna (the MS routers don't). It is possible
to extend the range with the appropriate antenna and
amplifier, and it is easier if the system was design to
just plug-in the range extender. I would do a search on
the Internet first for wi-fi range extender.

BTW, we were able to set a link up to 30 miles away using
a old sat dish as antenna :-)
