Incorrect password

A windows 98 computer was connected to a DOMAIN. As a
sudden it started giving the following error "The domain
password you supplied is incorrect or access to your logon
server has been denied."

The user ID and password are correct, and I can "see" the
computer from other computers in the network, but it gives
me no access to the network resources.

Could someone help, please?
