Incorrect Password Prompt

I have a shared drive on a 98SE machine that I keep password protected.
To ease some administrative tasks, I removed the password so that I
could have full unrestricted access from any of our network machines.
None of these tasks involved any network settings. I restored password
protection to the shared drive (same password), but now that password is
not being accepted by any of the network computers. I get a "Incorrect
Password-Try Again" prompt when I try to access the drive from a network
machine. I can see the drive, just can't get to it using the installed
password. Any ideas?

Quality is a function of design, materials, and craftsmanship.
Inspection can only confirm quality or reveal deficiencies.
In no case, can quality be inspected into anything.

you could try deleting your *.pwl files and recreate your passwords

Tried that. Still no joy. Would it make any difference whether or not I
was using Windows Logon or Client For Microsoft Networks as the primary
network logon? Currently using Windows Logon-never been a problem.
