The fix is to download the updated version of the software. The old version
has a problem with XP SP2's updates, and won't install properly. It is
available here:

Also, make sure if you're running anything Norton, Symantec or the ZoneAlarm
firewall, that they are completely shutdown (even uninstalled) before
installing. Those products block the successfully install, and don't quit
when you "exit" from the Systray icon. That doesn't stop them from running,
only does away with the icon.
