A more likely 'linux' approach would be to find or build an email server
where you control delivery (or at least your own .procmailrc) and forward
all your email there either through direct forwarding if allowed or picking
it
up with fetchmail if not. Then you configure procmail to run spamassassin
before the mail lands in the box you access from all your clients. If that
isn't
possible due to firewalling or machine availability, some imap clients have
filtering capability built in. Evolution and Outlook (full version, not
Outlook
Express) can apply filters to imap folders but there can be an annoying
delay at startup when you do and the filters only seem to be applied by the
first client that sees a message.
