IIS default install giving authentication error

I have just installed IIS and I immediately get:


HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to an ACL set on
the requested resource.

Anonymous auth is enabled and no other authentication is enabled?

Does anyone have any clues?
