I have my PC on manual IP address .: 192.168.28.1

My router's IP address is.: 192.168.28.254

On my local network settings i have as always this.: default gatway.:
router's IP address

..: DNS server.....: router's IP address

..: WIns server....: routers IP address

On my router i have the following.: wan side.: DNS nothing here, should i
have something here????

Ok, I can instantly see that you have the IP of the router setup as your DNS
address.

Some routers do support DNS proxying (eg. my D-Link DSL-504 does, but, I
don't use it as I find it a little buggy).

You've got the router as the 'Primary WINS Server', too. Not sure that's
right. What router you using?

I take it you are using DHCP?
In the DHCP settings (on your router/dhcp server) you need to specify
(again) the DNS of your ISP.
194.168.8.100 and 194.168.4.100 I presume.
And, yes, you need to specify these again on the 'DNS' page of your router.

Should sort you out then.

Once you've sorted the above, open up a command prompt and type:
ipconfig/renew

Then you can test again (browser/ping/nslookup/etc).

NTL use http proxy servers which catch all content so you simplu have to
press control and F5 in ie to order the proxy server to fetch new data from
originating server and this should sort your problem out.
