if i want to have something@1.1.1.1 on irc, how do i change that?
i'm running linux.
i can't find anything in the /etc/identd.conf file

The part after the @ in your irc id is ether your connecting IP or the
name it resolves to. You cannot control that unless you control reverse
DNS for your IP (usually only for static IP). In other words, your
current internet connection would always show as
(E-Mail Removed).

If you run your own local ircd, you could control it when connecting to
that using your own local DNS.
