Help! I am at my wits end!! I have read many web pages/news sheets and
'read me' instructions and still it doesn't work!! Host (Win98se/Broadband)
and one client (WinXP). Networking OK - pinging both ways OK (two Cat 5e
cables, one 5 port switch, bedroom repainted BLUE to match cable colour
crossing the ceiling etc) Internet Connection Sharing installed correctly -
all protocols as per MS Insts. Although the connection remains Ok it does
not find the internet server - error number 0x800CCC0D.

I have Norton installed but disabled whilst trying ICS. I have had one
hour on the phone (UK to USA) talking to the card manufacturers who says it
does work BUT they cannot tell me how!

First, remove this completely from your system and don't reinstall it
until your ics is functioning correctly.

Next, post some details of your ip addressing. Are you using the
default addressing via dhcp from the ics server which has a fixed
address of 192.168.0.1? Run winipcfg and post details of the
addressing information. Can you connect okay from the ics server with
and without ics enabled?

Jim.
