Hello ,

A friend of mine will be getting ntl broadband installed tommorow.

The modem will connect directly to the PC with ethernet.
The PC with the ethernet also has a wireless PCI card.

He would like to network the machine and his laptop with a wireless card
without a router.

Could i do this with ICS for him?

TIA

Carl

Yes, but a router would be better in many ways.

The main advantage of having a router is that there is no need for the main
PC to be turned on in order for the laptop to access the internet. There may
also be performance advantages to using a router.
