Both machines WinME,IE5.5 and are networked through a hub.
ICS setup 1st with dialup. Everything seems to work. When
I switch to the DSL connection the main computer is o/k,
but the second machine is slow and won't open a number of
sites. I've tried removing everything, setting up the DSL
and reinstalling ICS, but I get the same results. Would a
DSL router cure this? or? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank-you

Does your DSL connection use PPP Over Ethernet (PPPoE)? If so, here
are two possible fixes:

1. Find the right MTU setting on the second machine, as shown here:

http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article04-107

and then make the setting manually, or use DrTCP to make it:

http://www.dslreports.com/front/drtcp.html

2. Download the free RASPPPoE program, install it on the first
machine, and use it instead of your ISP's dialer program. Details at
these sites:
