Guys:

I have some ICMP questions. I need to test whether ICMP works or not?.

1) Do I have to any rule to dropSource quench, Redirect, Timestamp a,d
Timestamp repluy messages?.

if yes, then can I get some example of how the rule looklike for all
those packet types?.

2) Also I need to test, make sure it is droping those packets, how can
I test it, Is there anyway I can generate a packet and see whether
that ICMP packet is really droping or not?.

Can Smartbit can generate all those packets?.

3) How can I make sure my host never broadcast gratuitous ICMP Address
Mask replies?.

I have to allow my host should accept only Echo Request and Reply.

Thanks in advance
