when i enable the builtin firewallof windows 2003 server
it blocks all the incoming traffic. the firewall is
working fibe because whne i enable the ICMP (PING) and it
work fine and external hostmay ping that IP address and
get 100% reply, but after enabling the ICP for PORT 80 it
reject all the incoming traffic for port 80.

Waiting for reply and thanks in advance

Regards

Arshad

please post back with the values entered for each of the fields for your
port 80 entry.
It's possible that you inadvertantly created an ICS entry rather than an ICF
entry.

Hi,

Are you using ICF or Basic Firewall services for Windows 2003. You should
use Basic Firewall services under RRAS in Windows 2003.
Once you have this configured, you should be able to use the Web Server
rule under services and ports.
