Hello,

I've got the base station set up on my PC desktop (WinXP)
and am trying to get my roommate's iBook (O/S 10.2.4) to
connect via the airport hub. The network is running fine
on my computer - but can't seem to detect the iBook and
the iBook is not detecting my computer. (I've got them
all of 2 feet from each other). Help? I'm fairly techno-
illiterate so the simpler language the better please!

thanks in advance-
lynda

ummm - I'm not sure if I understand the question but....

The phone line goes to my internet modem thing - to the
MN-500 - and then to my PC computer. And my roomie's
iBook has an airport card and supposedly should
just "detect" the network. And vice versa. Which ,
unfortunately, not happening.

Is that the info you meant?

Well that means he is not using an airport hub.

These next few questions are about the MN-500.

Are you using WEP?

Are you using MAC filtering?
