Another question... What is the going opinion of the IBM Notebook internal
antennas? Is it better to buy an external PC-Card WiFi solution or go with
the internal mini-PCI card one?

I could buy quite a nice PC-Card for the cost that IBM charges for their
coded mini-PCI internal solution, and they set the notebooks to only allow
the use of thier own mini-PCI cards.

I have to eventually, when I buy an AP and WiFI card, punch through 2 floors
of stressed concrete in a Dutch house here in The Netherlands in order to be
able to use this notebook anywhere in my house.

Thanks for any help given.

Al...

The internal antenna should work much better than the PCMCIA card.
