so if any can do this i'm so thankful

Hi there --

Just configure the Nortel switch as a RADIUS client in IAS. Use the same
shared secret on both the switch and the IAS server.

In remote access policy, use EAP as your authentication method.

Details on how to deploy IAS with 802.1X authenticating switches are found
