I am having problems getting a Windows 2003 IAS to talk to a Cisco 3020
Concentrator. Authenticate thru to the Windows 2003

I have setup a RADIUS client(Cisco) on the windows 2003. I have also setup
a policy to allow group "VPN" to be allowed access.

Each time I try to VPN into the Concentrator, The Authentication fails.

Would someone please give me an example of the way this should be setup with
IAS.

Thank You

Terry

You should check to be sure that the authentication methods (CHAP,
MS-CHAP, MS-CHAP v2) selected on the concentrator are compatible with
the methods allowed on the remote access policy. (Also, note that last
time I tried this, the "Test Authentication" feature on the
concentrator always used PAP, even if PAP wasn't enabled on the
concentrator or the policy; this caused authentication to fail if PAP
wasn't enabled in the policy.)

HTH.
