Kinda buried in tools and need some orientation.

I'm trying to come get in from the outside. I need to make a https
connection on port 443 to a proxy server. At that proxy server, I need to
authenticate (so happens it's w/ a securid fob). After I authenticate, I
need to do some sort of tunnel/port-redirection to a machine that's inside
the private network protected by the SOCKS proxy. Once I'm there, I'll
finally use a standard browser (on port 80) to got through this tunnel and
do my work.

This is now being done by a windows client on a windows box, but that just
ain't gonna do it long term.

What tools should I use? I've got the bits and pieces, but I just can't
seem to get them glued together right. I've looked at tsocks,
dante-client, proxy-chains, and about a thousand articles.

Thanks for the push...
