HTB is not fair? Look at this graph...

Hello!
I am just experimenting with HTB and what I can see is that HTB is not
fair...
Look at this graph:
http://josh.neostrada.pl/40342_600.png

This is a simulation:
as you can see "user1" (red) is getting always almost twice as "user3"
(blue). "user2" is not connected. It looks like "user1" is borrowing
almost everything from "user2" while "user3" is limited to her rate...

Bandwidth is shared this way:
max download is limited to 1000kbit/s
users have DL rate=333kbit ceil=1000kbit

Can anyone explain me what is happening?
I know there is such an option to set "priority", but I didnt set it at
all, so it means everyone has (SHOULD HAVE!) the same right to Bandwidth.

For more details about configuration read this file:
http://josh.neostrada.pl/htb-myconfig.txt

What do you think about this?

-josh

It is quite clear from this graph that user 1 borrows from user 3 at
3:02++
3:04-
3:08
and that user 3 borrows from user 1 at
3:06-

I can't access your rules, but that would be expected behavior when
ceil is greater than rate, there is no (e)sfq and no prio.

I suggest that you post to the LARTC mailing list if you want expert
advice.

OOPS!

3:06 is when user 3 borrows from user 1

Heh - I was thinking about something quite different actually...
My intention was to show that User1 and User3 should download at the
same speed... and looking at this graph it is clear that user1 has much
more BW than user3... The places you described are the ones where I
stopped transmission in user1 or user3 for a while to show that every
one is able to download at the maximum speed.
