Mr Banks

Further to our telephone conversation this morning.

I spoke to Ian Webster of the Northern Light Board who is in charge of
buildings. He said he had no knowledge of what was happening at Hoy High but
understood that they had fitted gates at various lighthouses. I pointed out
that it was normally for towers and engine rooms and not expected for a
tearoom/bothy. I also pointed out that the property was listed 'A' category
and would require listed property consent.

Mr Webster then phoned the projects manager who said that the gates were not
as yet ordered and he would be making a site visit within two or three weeks
and would discuss the matter with me.

I will keep you informed of any further progress,

Regards - Mike Braddock (snr)
