Hi - I'm a complete novice at wireless access. I've got a wireless network
at home - don't understand it but it seems to work fine. I have a laptop
with a wireless card. If I take it to a shop or airport that has a hotspot,
how do I connect? If anybody has the time for a quick primer, or can point
be toward some useful online info, I'd greatly appreciate it. Mucho thanks,
~OC~

If you travel to a public hotspot, your system should automatically
connect to the available AP.

Public hotspots will probably direct you to a local web page before
providing Internet access. Those which are free may or may not, but
those which charge will have instructions on the web page.
