Hotmail problem

About this time (17:00) yesterday I sent an email to a hotmail address and
they sent me an email about the same time. We did the same exchange this
morning. None of the emails have arrived. Does anyone know if there is a
current service problem with hotmail please?

Free webmail-based email accounts are terribly unreliable due to the sheer
volume of traffic their email servers have to cope with. Mind you, I've had
problems with certain ISPs who run their email servers to capacity.

They've had some problems recently because I had to renew a Yahoo
subscription because apparently e-mails had been getting bounced. Prior to
this Hotmail has been very reliable.
