Is this hotfix available without contacting MS support?

The error in the above noted KB article is identical to the errors showing
up on all my Win XP SP2 workstations.

This error never showed up until I upgraded our only WIN 2K server to SP4.

Point me in the right direction.
Thank You!

Hotfixes can only be obtained from PSS. There is no charge for this.

Sorry ... I'm new to this! What is PSS? How do I contact PSS! All the
support pages I see want to charge you for contacting them!

PSS is the official Microsoft product support group. You contact them by
telephone through your local Microsoft office. There is no charge for
supplying a hotfix descibed in a KB.
