Hi All

I am looking for a domain hoster that will redirect email reliably and
quickly.

I have a domain that I basically only use for incoming email which is
forwarded to me via whichever ISP I am using that year. (Currently
NewNet who are very good).

The hosting is currently done by Free Parking who often have delays and
occasionally have a 24 plus hour delay and lose the odd email.

I am having a lot of trouble finding an unbiased source of information
on hosting companies. Ngs with hosting in the name seem to be full of
companies doing their advertising.

Can anyone recommend a good company or a good place to look for information?

Sorry to have to ask this but when replying please say whether you have
any connection with the company. Sadly I have found elsewhere people
plugging their own companies without disclosing their interest.

TIA for any recommendations. There are loads of sites comparing ISPs but
hosting seems to involve a leap of faith.

I have two domains hosted with Daily.co.uk

So far I have found Daily to be very good.

I have no connection with them except as a satisfied customer for the last 8
months.

How about NewNet? They do hosting and domain registration as well as
their ISP business.

I use them for my ISP (as you say, they are very good) and have now
moved my domain hosting and registrations there as well. No complaints
at all about the service.

The only downside is that they have a transfer-in _and_ a transfer-out
fee for domains (and quite a high one IMHO) so that might put you off a
bit?

No, I'm just a customer.
