host -l to be denied

How do i block my DNS server from replying 'host-l server' issued by
outsider. I only have master zone and no slave zone defined.

Somewhere in docs for your bind should be an 'options' file listing
options (maybe under /usr/share).

Perhaps what you are looking for in your options{}; is:
allow-transfer { address_match_list };
(default is yes for any)
