Hello,

I am moving into a campus residence in September and they don't have
any LAN infrastructure.* There is a few wireles places on campus like
the Physics library and the main library.

I am currently using an IBOOK/700 MHz with an internal airport card to
obtain an intermittent connection from the place where I'll be
rooming.* The university appears to be using some type of cisco system
with LEAP authentication.

Originally I thought I would use a WET11 from linksys, remove the
antannae and extend my range with a homebrew antannae.* After some
more reading I am beginning to think this isn't an option because
Linksys doesn't use LEAP.

I am looking for a solution that is external to my ibook and can
extend my range and use LEAP.

I would appreciate some help in this experiment.

Best Regards,

Bert
