Is anyone here successfully using the DG834G with a Homecall(UK
broadband connection? If so, can you let me know what Multiplexin
method you are using (VC or LCC) and what values are set for VPI an
VCI.

It's a strange one this. I'm able to successfully complete CHA
authentication, and the router believes it is connected, but there's n
transfer.

Thanks for your time.

B

The Setup Wizard should figure that out for you but anyway I've yet to
find a UK aDSL service that was not:

Encapsulation: PPPoA
Multiplexing: VC-BASED
VPI: 0
PCI: 38

Do you get an IP address and DNS servers assigned (see: Basic Settings)?
Can your browser find: http://www.bt.net/digitaldemo (single image).
In the Diagnostics menu try to PING first your own IP address and then the
addresses of the DNS servers.

Let me know the answers to those.

Tony
