i have just set up my network with help from the more knowledgeable chaps on
this forum.
i used a netgear router and three netgear wireless cards.
it was quite easy, just follow the instructions that come with the cards and
router. install the cards first, then install your modem/router.
the only involvement i have from bt is the broadband signal. instead of
connecting the micro filer to your modem connect it to your new router
as a relative novice i have been able to set the whole network, encrypted it
with WEP protection, i can file share between all three pc's and can get 1mb
BT broadband on all the machines.
there was a pc pro issue a month or so back on going wireless and that had
some tips as well.
