home networking with xp and macbook

Home network is a dell, comcast scientific atlanta broadband modem, linksys
wireless-g router, aol safety and security system firewall. i have a
macbook with airport and the airport says its connected to the home network
but when i try to access the web thru safari i get "you are not connected to
the internet" message.

Anybody have a suggestion?

enable apple talk, Network preference panel, should show as a pane next
to TCP/IP
