Home Networking Wizzard Win ME

I have Windows ME on my computer and am trying to network
to a second computer in my home using Windows 98. I used
the Home Networking Wizzard to set up on my computer and
created the disc as directed for setting up the network on
the second computer. When I run the wizzard from the disc
on the second computer, it tells me that no working
network adapter was detected on the computer.

The computer I am trying to network is a Gateway Astro.
(yes I wasted my money on one of these) Therefore, I am
using a Linksys external Network Adapter (USB100TX)
connected through to a USB port on the Astro and connected
to a Lynksys Hub (EFAH05W). Internet connection is via
cable modem and I can access the internet using this set
up. In addition the device manager shows that the adapter
is working properly.

Does anyone have any ideas? If not, can anyone direct me
to where I can get complete directions on how to set up
the network manually?

Thanks!
