First question, why are you using Server 2003 as a "client" to an XP?
Second, what exactly do you expect to "see" on a client machine which is
using Internet Connection Sharing on another machine? Is the W2k3 machine
set to obtain its IP address automatically? Does it get an IP in the same
subnet as the XP?
As long as your machine is in the same IP subnet as the ICS machine and
has that machine's IP as its default gateway and DNS server, it should be
able to use ICS.
