It goes like this I have 1) Sony Vaio Desktop Win XP MCE 05 NIS 2006, 2)
EMachine desktop Win XP Home McAfee 2006, and 3) 2 Toshiba Laptops Win XP
Home McAfee 2006. All of these machines are connected by a US Robotics
wireless 125 MaxG router. The Vaio is wired, the emachine is wireless via
USB adapter, and both the laptops are Wi-Fi. All machines have access to the
internet w/ no problems.
The Vaio has no access to the workgroup, one of the laptops does not have
access to the workgroup, but the other does, however cannot access the other
systems. Have not connected the Emachine on the Network as of yet.

So what I wanna do is be able to have the file and print sharing working,
mainley b/c I want to be able to transfer data between one of the laptops and
the desktop, the others does not matter if they are in the workgroup working
OK, as long as i can get one of the laptops to work w/ the Vaio. I did the
wireless networking wizard and it worked fine between the Vaio and one of the
laptops, but when i tried to do it with the desktop i received an error
saying that it was not possible.

For the Sony because it is wired the wireless network wizard will not run.
See if this page will not help you:

You should run the Home Network Setup Wizard in Windows XP and set all the
workgroups the same.
