home network setup

I have just purchased a new HP laptop and cannot connect to my existing home
network. The two desktops that I have are both connected to a wireless
router via network cable. The laptop has a built in wireless card and I am
attempting to connect it to the router. I have run the setups for both home
networks and wireless networks but still cannot see the laptop on the
network. All computers are running windows XP Home. Ps. The Laptop works
when connected to the router with a cable.

Can you ping each other? or posting the result of ipconfig /all here may help.
