Home Network Questions

Hello,
I have two computers at home, a desktop and a laptop. I
have a cable modem connected to a wireless router. The
router is connected by Ethernet cable to the desktop and
is connected to the laptop wirelessly.

I'd like to set up a file / printer sharing network
between my two computers. I read the article "How to Set
Up a Small Network with Windows 98 SE". My question is:
Do I need to install another ethernet card on the desktop
and the laptop to form this network? Or can I use the
existing connection? Or is there a better configuration I
should be using? Thanks alot for all your help. I just
discovered this forum and it's great!
