Home netwok setup problem

I set a connection network between two computers with windows XP on both. The
Internet connection was set with a cable modem which I hooked it up to a
router and two ethrenet cables, one to each of the pc's to the ethernet
adapter.The workgroup is set with the same name on both pc's (I used MSHOME).
At the begining the homenetwork start working good between the two computers,
but the Internet connection wasn't present since I do not reboot the modem.
After I reboot the modem same as the two computers, the Internet conn start
working fine on both computer but the two computers can't connect to the
network. I'm trying everything posible to get the network to work, but is no
use and also one of the computers doesn't show the netwok group at all,
dissapear, the other pc show the two network computers but I can't browse the
remote one since the path is not found. Any help or sugestion I'm greately
appreciate and thanks in advance.

Try running the Network Setup Wizard on each computer. Go to the
Start button - Accessories - Communications to find the wizard.
