Can I use a 3thrd w2k computer as a Server/host, then
network the other 2 W98Se as clients ? See message below,
is this how it can be done without W98SE and ICS ?

Subject: ICS does not install from Win 98 SE recovery CD
( Internet sharing connection

I have had no luck with ICS on our home network. I have
removed all traces of ICS - it just did not work.
I have 8 PCs connected via ethernet, a Linksys switch, and
a Linksys dsl/cable modem hub and all works beautifully.
We even have a Linksys 2-port PrintServer with 4 10/100
ports (that serves as an additional hub for our laptops)
that networks two of our older printers. The PC that the
dsl/cable modem hub is connected to serves as the "main"
pc and everything else connects vis DHCP as controlled by
the DSL/Cable modem. It is simple and works beautifully.
We have Win98, WinME, Win2k and WinXP computers all
working together with few problems.
This is an easy, inexpensive solution to home networking.
