W2k Domain, small 10 clients. We have a small workgroup( 5 pcs) which is
used for the Food & Beverage part of our club. 3 of us do need access, so we
have mapped some drives. Problem is, the rest of the users on the network
have no business browsing to or exploring the 4 pc's in this workgroup (POS
system for dining room) Share permissions on the workgroup are "everybody"
Needs to be for the POS system to work. The network ID is the same as our
administrativr network(192.168.1.X) Is their an easy way to hide these or
must I go to each workstation? Clients are mixed, winxp and win98se>
Thanks

If they are NT4, W2k or XP, type in on each PC:

net config server /hidden:yes

See if that helps.
