can any one in this group suggest me a concept for my Ph.D project in
Networking?

i.e.. i need a simple existing problem in any area of networking for my
Ph.D...

I don't think a 'simple existing problem' would cut the mustard - if it's
'simple' lots of folks would have trivial solutions.

More importantly... if he earns his Ph.D with a "simple" networking
problem, he is not exactly "contributing to the field" - which is still
(AFAIK) the definition for being awarded a Ph.D in the first place.

Anybody spending 4+ years studying networking who needs to ask *THIS*
question might as well start over as a freshman as far as I care.
