Hi!
I have installed the WSUS and set it to get the updates from microsoft.
I have done the necessary changes in the GPEDIT.msc of the client PC to get
the updates from the WSUS server.
How can I check if the client is being updated from the WSUS?

After a couple of hrs of setting up - On the client pc when I visit the
microsoft update site thru IE I see that there are 63 priority updates. This
means that the client is not being updated from the WSUS.

I see the computer name in WSUS server and the status is -'not reported
yet'.

Is there something wrong or did I miss something? and how to check if the
updates are being passed to the clients.
pl assist
thank you
Harry

First, I'd check the event log on the PC and see if it's checking in with
the WSUS server. If it is you will see entries there.

Second, I'd be sure I've approved all the updates I want pushed to the
clients. Just downloading them does not make them available.
