Help..wireless problem

hi

i wonder if anybody can help me....

i recently bought a Zoom ADSL X6 wireless router which i have set up
and so far can only access internet via ethernet cable. I have an apple
ibook os 10.3 and have a D Link DWL 122 usb wireless dongle.

The problem is that when i remove ethernet cable, although mac says it
is connected to network (via usb dongle), when i open a browser i cant
access net. However, my Nintendo Wii can access wireless network and
browse the net and play online games.

im not expert, but presume something is wrong with my network
settings?

hope somebody can help? please feel free to ask questions as im
proabably not being that clear!
